Wishbones – Reconditioned Price £175.00 each + VAT, Ball Joint £72.00 + VAT

Everyone knows how the upper wishbones wear on all Jaguar E-Types because the upper wishbone joint is running directly in the wishbone. Over the years the wear in the wishbone becomes oval and even when a new ball joint is installed the repair is short lived as the new ball pin quickly becomes oval like the wishbone.

Our solution to this problem is to machine the wishbone to accept a modern ball joint which runs in a nylon cup. Not only will the joint last for many years and tens of thousands of miles (we have been using this system for more than ten years and to date have not had to supply any replacement parts), but when it does eventually wear the only part that will need replacing is the nylon cup.

We can either supply the rebuilt wishbone complete and ready to fit on an exchange basis at £175.00 each plus VAT or alternatively for those who have access to a machine shop we can supply the ball joint, nylon cup, gaiter, shim and machining instructions at £72.00 each plus VAT.
