Rixon Bucknall – 1950s Jaguar Special

The Rixon Bucknall Special was built in the late ’50s by Colonel Rixon Bucknall. Based on a Jaguar XK140 chassis, the Red Car as it was known, blended vintage styling and characteristics with the then latest high performance Jaguar engineering. Later the Colonel updated the car with an XK150 ‘S’ engine. The car is unique and is riddled with fascinating details. CMC have carried out one of their sympathetic Jaguar restorations, retaining and recreating every single detail.
