Andrew Whyte Memorial Lecture

CMC’s Andrew Turvey and Luke Martin received a warm welcome at the Andrew Whyte Memorial Lecture, where the pairing delivered a comprehensive history of the Linder Knocker Lightweight E-Type. The car itself was centre stage in the magnificent surroundings of the Jaguar Visitors Centre at Castle Bromwich. Peter Wilson was also out front providing an informative lecture on the development of Lightweight E-Types. We would like to thank him for his kind support throughout the day.

Classic Motor Cars wins Restoration of the Year Award

The Linder Knocker Lightweight has received the International Historic Motoring awards:
‘Restoration of the Year’
The team involved with the rebuild, were on hand to receive the award with Peter Neumark on stage to collect the trophy from Martin Brundle. The team said a superb night was had by everyone and after all the hard work a glass of champagne was well deserved!
